Our website is in partnership with the Boracay Foundation, an association of resorts and establishments operating on Boracay Island that is dedicated to promoting Boracay Island to the world.

On May 1-3, 50 Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Dragon Boat teams will be competing for the cup in the FILA BORACAY INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL. After the success of last year’s Festival, the numbers have doubled to make it the biggest international sporting event on the island – about 1,000 rowers from Australia, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States and the Philippines will be making their way to the clear waters of Boracay to fiercely paddle for the gold in a spectacular show of teamwork, camaraderie, strength, and power in 500-meter and 300-meter races. During the races, rowers will be outfitted by this year’s title sponsor, FILA. Once again, the beachfront of the Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center will be where all this excitement will take place.
